Hello people. As you know last year I biked 500 miles for Diabetes Uk and apart from raising a lot of money, my legs got HUGE (we'll my quads did. Still had tiny calfs š)
This time I've switched it up. Ive signed up to swim 44 miles over 12 weeks. Doesn't sound a lot compared to 500 miles in a month but considering it would be 50 lengths of the pool at my gym EVERYDAY FOR 3 MONTHS I may have bitten off more than I can chew.
I had my first test swim yesterday to gauge my speed, effort and recovery etc. I did 30 lenghs in just under an hour with a couple of rests. My plan is to do 25 lengths then quick calorie and hydration break and then back in for the last 25, plus a weekly rest day I should be able to do it. Or I just try and float my way through a few lengths to rest a bit š
Either way im really excited about this goal and can't wait to see the results. Should my weight sky rocket like it did last time I may try and do a few of these challenges a year.
I won't be posting weekly progress reports like last time (unless I get ripped and or fat so expect a few progess pics. Id be happy with normal sized arms) but anyway heres the link to my page.
