Stay safe

So it looks like BJ is bringing us out of lockdown tomorrow. Now I'm not happy with the way he and the health Secretary has handled it but I am impressed with the results of the vaccines. We're currently the 2nd highest of population fully vaccinated. Last time I checked it was 53%+ and just under 70% had their first dose.

A college of mine has tested positive recently and she's also pregnant. We all hope her and the baby are safe and well. I do think about the people how aren't eligible yet or can't have it in the first place. I think the herd immunity percentage is 60% according to research but they aim of 80%.

Yes I'm very high risk and yes I'm doing bar work but despite lockdown stopping I'm still going to be wearing my masks, washing as often as possible and generally being as diligent as I can be.

Please stay safe. I suspect we may enter a 4th lockdown but I truly pray for you all and this to meet its end. Hopefully it will be over soon.
